Abseiling and Rock Climbing in Port Macquarie - welcome to the Edge...
Edge Experience is partnered with SPaRTA Solutions (RTO Code 40836), enabling us to deliver recognised competencies in abseiling, rock climbing, remote area first aid and wilderness survival.
We deliver these competencies to leaders working for outdoor education or adventure providers, volunteer groups, not-for-profit organisations, government agencies or individuals simply aspiring to guide their own recreational abseiling trips safely.
Edge Experience (Edge) was founded in 1998 by Port Macquarie local Sam Dalton. Sam is no stranger to the outdoors having worked in the busy family business conducting guided horse rides and bush tucker tours into the local State Forests and Conservation Areas from the age of 12.
Sam’s love of all things rock climbing, rope and rescue has led to a successful career with his Registered Training Organisation SPARTA Solutions, which is partnered with Edge Experience.
Nowadays, Edge Experience is run by Sam and his wife Melinda, continuing the tradition of a safe family run adventure business in the Hastings. Edge Experience runs regular ‘school of rock’ programs for kids, schools and budding gym climbers wanting to progress to outdoor rock climbing as well as a suite of abseiling experiences and courses from introductory (beginner) to leaders (advanced) and vertical rescue.
